Lab Management STAR Series- Episode 5
The fifth STAR seminar series, “Step Five: Funding, Publishing, and Collaborations,” was held on June 17th, 2011 and covered all aspects of laboratory management from effective negotiating for a startup package to hiring personnel and preparing for tenure. Speakers included: Joel Ernst, M.D., Professor, Dept of Medicine, Microbiology and Pathology; Linda Miller, Ph.D., Associate Dean for Basic Science; Michael Dustin, Ph.D., Depts of Pathology and Molecular Pathogenesis.
