The NYU LEARN Series (Leadership, Education and Research at NYU)
This six-part seminar and discussion series targets postdoctoral scholars and graduate students who intend on pursuing careers in teaching. This series will expose those interested in teaching to formal pedagogy, various aspects of course and lesson design, and how to prepare for a job in teaching. The series format will be six 90-minute sessions led by a subject expert and will be offered as a six-part workshop for Spring 2012, with the intention to expand to an official non-credit course in the fall of 2012. Anyone who attends at least five of the six sessions will receive a certificate from the Postdoc Program. Click here for event details.
