  • All new first year Postdocs receive a complimentary membership to the New York Academy of Sciences. This includes complimentary attendance at many of the Academy’s lectures and seminars during the year and members-only online summaries of Academy meetings and conferences.
  • Our Postdocs can receive discounted pricing for business cards. The offer allows you to receive 250 business cards for the special price of $15, which is a good deal. If you are interested in obtaining business cards please see Keith Micoli in the Postdoc Office (located in the Lower Dean’s Office) to fill out a template for printing. You may pay for your cards when you pick them up at Printing Services in Greenberg Hall, SC2-127.
  • Postdocs can receive Zipcar discounts. NYU SoM and the Sackler Institute have joined forces with Zipcar to make getting around town a whole lot easier. Not only will we take you home, but you can join Zipcar for only $25. Get 24/7 self-service access to cars parked all over the city that you can rent by the hour or the day. Use them to go to the grocery stores or take off out of town for a day. Simply reserve a Zipcar online, walk to the car, let yourself in with your Zipcard, and drive away.   • All NYU Postdocs are eligible for discounts on Broadway tickets, movie tickets and other entertainment offers. The NYU SoM Student Activities Ticket Xpress Office makes available discounted tickets and events throughout New York City. Although Ticket Xpress was primarily created as a service to NYU School of Medicine students, Ticket Xpress is also open to all postdocs. The Ticket Xpress Office is on the ground floor of the School of Medicine between the ATM and the Security Office. Hours of operation are Tuesday-Friday, 3:30pm- 5:30pm.
